CEEA Ecuador
The first international sister centre, launched in Quito with seven universities and the Canadian embassy.
A growing family of centres of excellence, from Canada outward.
The CCEAC model — university-anchored, multi-sectoral, built on collective action — was designed to be replicated. With support from Global Affairs Canada and the Basel Institute on Governance, it is being adapted by partners in other countries who face the same problem in a different context.
Each centre is independent and locally led. What the network provides is the model, the material, and a set of peers who have already made the mistakes.
The first sister centre, CEEA in Ecuador, launched in Quito in 2020. Further centres are at various stages of discussion; announcements appear in News & Updates as they are confirmed.
